Lithuanian Saturday School for Adults

There is a Lithuanian Saturday school in San Francisco (2 Connecticut st).We have an adult class that currently has 8 students in it in a very similar position - trying to learn or improve the Lithuanian language. The classes are held on Saturdays 9 am- 1 pm. If you are interested please come on a Saturday and see if this program is something you are looking for. The cost is $230 for the February/May semester.

Mieli teveliai, Kvieciame musu maziausius vaikucius 1.5-3.5 metu amziaus su teveliais i San Jose, sestadieni, sausio 9d 4:00 val. popiet i Rasos namus.  Zadam visi kartu lietuviskai padainuot, pasokti ir pazaisti.  Jaunesni ar vyresni vaikai irgi kvieciami, bet "programele" bus skirta 1.5-3.5 metu vaikuciams. Visi yra labai laukiami, galesim pasivaisinti atsinestais uzkandziais.  Prasau leiskit zinoti, jeigu galesite ir norite dalyvauti.  Jeigu negalite si karta dalyvauti, bet noretumet ateityje, prasau taip pat atsiliepkite. Ateityje vieta keisis. Prasau paskambinkite ar parasykite Astai.  Visi laukiami pabendrauti lietuviskai.

Dear Parents,

You're cordially invited with your youngest children (1.5-3.5 years of age) to San Jose on Saturday, January 9th at 4:00 pm to Rasa's home.  We plan to sing in Lithuanian, dance to an accordian and play.  Younger and older children are also invited but the "program" will be for the 1.5-3.5 year olds.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone and to enjoy refreshments that everyone brings.  Please let us know if you'd like to and are able to come.  If you can't attend this time but would like to in the future please let us know.  In the future the place where we meet will change.  Please write or call Asta with any questions.  We look forward to a Lithuanian afternoon.

We thank Saulius for sending three sizeable boxes of Lithuanian books remaining after his parents Vyga and Daumantas passed away.  Books will be shipped after Christmas to the Siauliai University Library.
