Inside the gallery Our new short show - Black and White Black and White - May 11 to June 5, 2010  Our newest show features works using only black and white. Without the distraction of color, our artists communicate their mood and message through line, shape, pattern and texture. The results are stunning works that range from stark contrasts to subtle gradations. The show is both elegant and sophisticated. Both our two dimensional artists (paintings, collage, prints, photography) and our three dimensional artists (jewelry, ceramics) have contributed many pieces to this exceptional show.
Black and White will only be here for three weeks so come and visit before it is gone.
Artists Market  Here's your first opportunity of the summer season to shop the Artists Market. On Saturday, May 15, several of our artists will set up booths in the Gallery parking lot from 11am to 5pm. Check out the art, chat with the artists and enjoy some light snacks.

Outside the Gallery Artist happenings 
Abstract painter Paula Boas will be participating in the East Bay Pro Arts Open Studio sale. Boas and 19 other artists will be showing their work at Uptown Body and Fender in Oakland. Jewelry maker and glass artist Sadie Cuming is preparing to take part in the annual fundraiser for the Bancroft Garden. The show will take place on June 19 and 20. ruthbancroftgarden.events.
